This is the second of two articles that ask the same question, both with similar answers. They are challenging items both in their core responses, i.e., that we parents bear both the responsibility and the maturity to take on the admirable task of bettering ourselves as a gift to our children.
Many people want to write a book. Many people who want to write a book never do. I was one of those. I even told people I was writing a book. I just didn’t tell them it was only true in my mind. It occurred to me that there might be others in the same situation. So here is my share. I now love writing. And it inspires me to even greater heights. It has given me the confidence to do other things as well.

Love has no agenda but to love. Love is its own reward. Learning how to deal positively and restoratively is our job as parents. It is always about love.
“It took science awhile to catch up to the mystics. The ancient mystics already knew that the physical world is basically an illusion and that all things are connected. Quantum Theory, in particular, helped cement what the mystics already knew.
Science is about quantifying observable things. We learn a lot through that method. But there’s also an inherent wisdom we’re all capable of tapping into. Human consciousness gives us a type of “knowing” that we can’t quantify or even explain.”
When growing up, it’s easy to learn that being a “good” boy or girl, and doing it “right” becomes the way to get people to love you. It worked for me, as mommy and daddy always reminded me how good I was and how much they loved me. To a young child, these blended in together. The “gooder” I was, the more affirmation I got.
